Senior Body Piercer (Gloucester Rd)

Emily joined Holey Skin in 2007, initially working out of the Lawrence Hill Studios, before taking up the position of Senior Body Piercer at the Gloucester Rd Studios.

Emily trained at ‘Passion and Pain’ in Weymouth and then went on to work as Senior Piercer at ‘Via’ from 2000 to 2005 and finally ‘Haylo’ before joining Holey Skin.

Emily is fully trained and highly experienced in all areas of standard and complex body piercing, specialising in Surface Piercing with staple jewellery, Multiple Piercing and Male and Female Genital Piercing. 

Emily is a true ambassador for the art of body modification, herself exhibiting a fair few piercings and of course tattoos.  Emily has first hand knowledge of pretty much every piercing conceivable, many of which have been self-administered, in order to empathise with her clients and adapt her piercing technique accordingly.  In short she is able to personally understand the differing pain thresholds in order to make the piercing experience as comfortable as possible for her clients. 

Speaking as a recent client, Emily pierced my Tragus and ear rim cartilage at same time (piercing interview!!!) and I was amazed how little pain I felt and the rapid healing due to the quick, clean piercing technique.

Emily has a thorough knowledge of body piercing best practice, including exemplary hygiene and aftercare procedure advice.  She is also first aid trained.

We are delighted to welcome Emily to the Holey Skin Team – her enthusiasm and animated personality will make her a proper little asset to the Studios.
